OUR TEACHERS

Zvi Mermelstein

Zvi, a native of New – York City, is a graduate of Columbia University with a background study in Linguistics. He has taught at TLV University and has worked as a professional translator. He is teaching in our ulpan since 1990. He is a published poet and speaks several languages.

Ran Gluzman

Ran has a B.A in Literature and Philosophy from Tel Aviv University and is a certified Hebrew as a Foreign Language teacher by the Hebrew University. While living and travelling abroad, he studied different languages and realized how crucial it is for understanding a new culture. He wishes to give his students a similar experience.

Mor Buchnik

Mor has two degrees – A BA in Literature and Jewish philosophy, and MA in Literature. She is a certified Hebrew teacher by the Hebrew University, with a great passion to education and the Hebrew language. Mor has taught in various Ulpanim and programs. She speaks English and learns sign language.

Gitit Klar

Gitit has a B.A in Hebrew language and Linguistics from Tel Aviv University. She is a certified Hebrew teacher as second language by the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Gitit is very passionate about teaching Hebrew. Since she was a young girl, one of her dreams was to help people learn Hebrew.  Now she is fulfilling her dream teaching the language that she loves so much.

Ayala Lipson Levy

Ayala Lipson Levy has studied at the Levinsky Teachers` Seminary, and has a BA in Psychology from Burlington University. 

She taught Hebrew at Ulpan Gordon for many years, and now teaching at Ulpan Neve Tzedek. She's fluent in English and Italian.
